Representatives from the Oregon Seed Council had a wonderful time at the 2025 Oregon Seed League event! Megan Chuinard, Oregon Seed Council Executive Director, and Steve Salisbury, Oregon Seed Council’s Research and Regulatory Coordinator, had the opportunity to deliver a presentation on behalf of the Oregon Seed Council to provide organizational updates and industry resources. 

In addition to the OSC presentation, two distinguished Oregon Seed Council members and leaders were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the industry. Alex Duerst, OSC’s Immediate Past President, received the Oregon Seed Growers League 2025 Voice of the Industry Award. Dan Curry, an Oregon Seed Council board member and industry leader, was named the Oregon Seed Council 2025 Seedsman of the Year Award. 

The Oregon Seed Council congratulates Alex and Dan on their industry achievements and recognition! The Oregon Seed Industry is made successful because of dedicated contributors, like Alex and Dan. We are excited to see how they will continue to make a positive impact on the industry in the future!
